I hope all of your winter seasons are off to a good start. Things along Colorado’s Front Range have been interesting so say the least. From snow and sub-zero temperatures at the start the season, to the warm dry weather we have been experiencing lately, it’s made for quite an interesting mix. Hopefully the snow will come back soon though and allow for some more street and backcountry riding to go down.
Over the last couple months I’ve been staying very busy with my growing responsibilities at Echo Mountain. I am continuing to oversee Echo’s creative, park design, team and am now beginning to take on more of a role in managing relationships with our industry partners. If you get a chance, check us out some of my Echo Mountain work at www.echomt.com or www.echomt.wordpress.com.

In addition to my work with Echo, I have still been finding time for my own snowboarding and creative endeavors. I’ve been doing all the filming I can with friends and have been getting some really good stills with photographer Max Cavanaugh. I have also been doing product design for Zero Gloves and at the end of the month four of my glove designs will be debuting at SIA tradeshow here in Denver.
If you happen to be coming to SIA in Denver yourself, I would love to catch up while you’re in town, whether it just be for drinks or to do some riding. I am also planning on being back in Grand Rapids, MI at the end of February to do some riding and filming there, so it would be great to catch up with all you Midwesterners then.
Hope you enjoy the photos and be sure and stay posted for an early season video edit coming soon. Thanks!

Last night was New Years Eve and instead of doing the bar thing, Steve, Eric, myself and the girls headed over to the Fehrle’s for yet another backyard snowboard session. The night was highlighted by backside 180’s in nearly every direction, creative stalls, and no/one-foot shenanigans. Caught up in the action, I only made time to break out the camera for a second, but here’s a couple shots I got of the guys…
Check out a few photos from a spot check I recently did with SnowRev about Echo Mountain… You can also read the full article here. Thanks to George Crosland for coming out and putting the whole thing together!
